Blanc cassé très polyvalent, sans la nuance verte ou jaune. « Skimming » se réfère à l’usage qu’on en faisait à l’origine comme couleur blanc écrémé (« skim » en anglais) ou lait de chaux, au XIXe siècle. Aujourd’hui, tout aussi utile comme blanc passe‑partout. Utiliser la sous-couche Blanc. Choisir une finition ci-dessous.
A highly versatile off-white, without the common undertone of green or yellow. ‘Skimming’ refers to its original use as a 19th century skim colour or whitewash, today equally useful as an all round white. Use Undercoat White. Choose a paint finish.
